FS: Invisihitch BMW X5 M-Sport Bike-Rack-Only Hitch
I am selling a brand new Invisihitch Bike Rack/Tow hitch. It was never installed, and I am selling my 2010 X5. More details on the hitch can be found on the Execuhitch website. http://execuhitch.com/tow-hitches/bm...iring-kit.html Last edited by 9jabimmer; 03-30-2016 at 04:15 PM.. Reason: sold |

Using this hitch on my X5 M and love it. If I was parked next to another X5 M without a hitch you wouldn't be able to tell I had a hitch installed on mine. If I remember right, this one is rated to tow more than the OE hitch as well. Not that you would want to do that though.

It is the exact same hardware as the tow hitch minus the cabling. So yes, it can be used to tow once you add the approriate cabling.
Execuhitch/Invisihitch do sell a kit to convert it for towing use. |

I actually just found out from Invisihitch that the hitch will also work on regular X5's as well. They redesigned the hitch such that it works whether you have the M-Sport package or not.
X5M is a different story though. This hitch wont work on the M's... |

I have this hitch (bike rack version too) and it's awesome. I don't use it much and I forget it's even installed being the receiver is removable. Somebody pick this up! |

hitch
i have this hitch installed on my X5M for about 6 months. I have both the ball hitch adapter and the 2" square adapter available from Execuhitch which allows you to use things like the Thule hitch carriers... this is a GREAT set-up ad highly recommended... the install was a bit of a work but worth it in the end... good luck with sale -

There are conflicting comments above as to the application of this hitch on a X5M, I have a X6M...can anyone confirm if this hitch fits an X6M...no cutting of rear diffuser/bumper? Thanks all!

Somebody buy this. I installed myself on my 2013 BMW X5 with m-sport package. I paid around $1000 and have the ball mount and the 2" tube receiver. Best hitch on the market in my opinion. No clanking sound when pulling a trailer since the ball mount locks in the receiver instead of a standard hitch where it slides back and forth in the 2" tube. Great price. If you have an X5, I think this is a must. You do have to have your car coded to cause the backup camera to zoom on the hitch area. Execuhitch covered the coding from OKEE.
