Feeler/help for 2011 X6M
Hey Guys.... I am new to this side of the posts and am a long time M3post user... I recently got an X6M 2011 Turns out my wife hates it because of the visibility and i still can't stop driving my M3.... I think it is time to cut my losses and my wife's constant complaining... I need help with pricing It is black on black with 24.5K miles some of the options -rear entertainment -soft close doors -active driver's seat -heated and ventilated front seat -heated rear seats with rear climate control.. It's original warranty is up to 10/14 i bought extended maintenance thru BMW valid thru 10/16 and an extension of warranty thru Fidelity (this is transferable unlike CPO) I know i can KBB the value but how much do you guys(and gals) think is it worth with the extended maintenance and warranty.... if i were to sell i'd expect to take a lose but how much of a lose should i take on the maintenance extension and additional warranty? Thanks

Good luck. Unfortunately the m series always take a bath on depreciation and the market for an X6M is not very big. I'm glad though because you don't see them hardly at all and even fewer M's.

Even though you may be dealing with the depreciation value that the ///M cars have you still have the rarity going for you. The low miles and options should fetch you in the low 60's considering the east coast location.
I wish I could help you get out of it but I am stuck in a Jeep GC lease till next year. |

I would expect you to be in the mid 50's if you are lucky. That's where I bought my 2011 X5M a year ago.

Mid 50's is definitely more realistic, some of the '12's are already dropping to the low 60's already. I snagged my '11 for 53k last December, factor in your mileage and warranty, and you're at 57-58k.

i was thinking 60ish too with extended maint. maybe 63. I'll hold on until the summer and see if i change my mind about letting it go. Quote:

When i was looking i was concidering an X5M and did see a few in that price range(mid 50s) but not X6Ms... same car but different market that they target... very similar to the M3 world with the e90/92/93 same cars on the inside but they target a different market and that's reflected in the price.... |

DON'T SELL IT!!!!
It seems like heresy to sell such an amazing vehicle. I will be in the market for a new used one next summer... absolutely love my 2010 X6M and it has 98,000 miles on it now. KBB shows its value around $47k Good luck and we will all wear black the day you sell it as we will be in mourning on your behalf... |
