New shoes and other costmetic mods.

Hi. Have a 2012 X5M. Few weeks after I bought it home(almost 3yrs ago), got

1. Black kidney grills
2. Front body colored reflectors
3. Lux
4. Interior LED kit
5. Dinan tune.

Added few cosmetic changes past weekend including
1. springs
2. Blackened out rear badges
3. Black M side markers
4. Body colored rear reflectors
5. Dinan Exhaust
6. Painted the rear valence black.
7. M decals on the calipers.

Here are some of the pictures that my installer took. I will take a few more with my camera and post them..

Thought about painting the BMW roundels black...decided against it. Wanted to paint the calipers blue but kept it black. Looks good with black wheels and rotor in background. Got the M decals and had them put on the calipers.

Overall very happy with how it has turned out so far..Any comments or criticisms are welcome.

Unfortunately it is sitting in the garage as the CEL with "reduced power to the engine" error happens everytime I drive it. I had a scheduled appointment next Monday with the dealer. Will drop it off on the 28th...

Thanks for the comments..

The lowering kit is HR springs: 1.2 with self levelling suspension. The photos were taken immediately after install. Think its supposed to drop a little bit more...

LOL...I am hoping I get lucky like u and have all 8 injectors replaced. I had extensive talk with my SA. He said that each "bank" has 4 injectors and there are 2 banks making it 8 total. He told me that if there is a misfire in anyone of the injectors BMW authorizes them to replace all four in that particular bank. I am hoping that I have at least 2 of them misfire: so I can have all 8 replaced....

Funny thing is I have been reading about this issue on the forums that I almost expected it to happen sooner or later. Therefore was not upset or alarmed when it showed up.

My SA told me that I am the 4th X5M this year that showed up there with the same issue....

Man I was going to order those wheels but ended up with the cheaper Rohana b/c its my wife's car and she's already curbed one of them. But I was right, they look amazing on the X!

Looking good STL! Glad I could be of assistance. Are you running spacers on the rear? What offset are those wheels? You are nice and flush!

Would love to see close ups of the black calipers with M stickers with black wheels, and also a close up of your rear valance/dinan exhaust.

Exhaust is probably my next project.

Will try and get those close up pictures sometime today and post them...My installer recomended I stay with black(He has a similar color combination on his R8). The calipers now show out pretty well against silver...

I got the decals from the company that u had listed in your thread. They were very prompt in their response to my questions and shipped it out on the same day that I posted the payment. Quality work tooo

No spacers..offsets: I will get back to you.

Thanks.

Forgestar F14s.
Front: 20 x 10.5
Rear: 20 x 12.

Offsets I will get back to you guys. Ordered it couple of months ago. Don't remember.
Tires.. Stock RFTs. Think I'll get one more summer out of them. Might go wider next year as there is a very slight stretch..
