Caliper Painting

Tried this caliper paint on my son's matte black Cayenne and was very impressed.

What was your prep procedure? Did you unmount the calipers or leave them bolted up?

They look good btw!

Just cleaned the brake dust off with a cloth. No other prep. There was plenty of room to maneuver, so I did not take them off. Just covered everything really well with plastic bags and blue painters tape. Thanks!

Who's paint kit did you use, or type of paint, Did you clear them as well?

They look good, but looks like when you do pads changes you will need to touchup the bolts.

See Web link above for paint. Didn't need to clear.
