My winter setup
Just change to winter setup today. They are the M3 19" Style 220 rims, with 255/50/19 Pirelli Scorpion. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Good point there. the dynamic forces can be significant.
looks good tho, I think the X6 is quite thick, substantial fr. the sides. It needs a bold designed wheel that has some rubber to balance the look. Low profile doesn't work for me. Like a big house on stilts. |

Guess the designers at BMW also think so and thats why they only put it on the more expensive models...

I think it depends on what the exterior color is. I think it looks pretty good on AW.

That is strange!
The 35i comes standard with 'Kidney grille with black slats and chrome surround' and the 50i comes standard with 'Kidney grille with titanium-look slats and chrome surround'. The sport package also adds the titanium look (actually it's mat aluminum look) on the ventilation grids in the front bumper below the kidney grill. Maybe they didn't have the black in stock at the time they assembled your car and substituted it with the titanium version ?!?
