Hate to have to send this - but feel the forum should be aware.

This seller agreed to price with me (in writing), accepted payment (via paypal), confirmed payment was received (via paypal), and then 2 days later after numerous requests for shipping info he stated he is refunding my money. Less than desirable transaction- and one I have actually never encountered.

When pressed on why this happened, he stated he didnt get enough for the lights.

Buyer beware gentlemen.

$1000 for led lights with blocks and frm3 it's very low

Then you shouldn't have agreed to it and taken it as far as you did. Someone probably PM'd him with a higher offer and with no integrity, accepted the higher offer.

100% agreed. Or as he told me a "buddy" told him they are worth more than our agreed upon price- after the sale. Ridiculous.

This is a scam!

Guy told me he had no ability to use PayPal do to limits and to not send the sellers asking price which I had agreed to pay.

Asked again for bank transfer following that......

I've personally bought and sold over 30k worth of parts from forums and know a scam a mile away!

We're all enthusiasts here. We can work it out. If someone seems shady, just ask for pick up in person and ask a trusted member to complete the transaction in whatever city and state the item is located.

I've done this for countless forum members, and I've had members do it for me. It's an unspoken respect and bond between real car guys, or rather men, and not weasels.
