Since there's no context in your question to work within...regardless if it's a minor increase or a major increase...just google a tire size calculator so that you will know if this unknown size increase is out of spec and how much it will throw off your speedometer/odometer and possibly your AWD/DSC/ABS systems.
If the tire size difference is within 3% (+/-) the BMW recommended tire sizes listed in the owners manual and on the chart on your driver's door jamb overall diameter/circumference...you're usually safe. If the difference is greater than 3%...then that's when you can run into issues with your AWD/DSC/ABS systems...and you also have to consider the recommended tire width for a specific width wheel. Mounting a 15" width wheel on a 10" wide tire would be safe...the tire may not mount safely if it is too wide or too narrow for the wheel. Actual tire size specs would go along way in helping us to help you better...but then, there's always google, too. |

Try a search on here I'm 100% certain this thread already exists. People tossed around numbers but I don't recall finding tires that didn't result in 1/8" difference in circumference causing the tcase problems. This was because of staggered stock rims
