2010 e70 xdrive48i auto tailgate issues.

1st post, new issue with my 2010 e70, the power tailgate unlocks but does not open or close, only unlocks and can be used manually. Other than fuses looking for recommendations on what to look for, and is this job a DIY? I was also having trouble locating possible replacement part numbers.

Found the part numbers (left 7332695), engraved on the spindle units. Is there a way to validate 1 or both may need replacing?

Don't get alarm but it could get real expensive depending on what the problem is, I bought a 2011 X5 at the auction which had the same problem. I ended up replacing a broken spring in the hydraulics and a chip in the tailgate that communicates with onboard computer total cost was about $1500. I don't know how good you are with cars but that was not a DIY project for me.
