Cleaning X5M exhaust tips

Just picked up a 2012 X5M in alpine white yesterday! Anyone have any good tips on cleaning the exhaust tips getting some of the black off 😳

I use mothers brand chrome polisher and a rag.
Expect to do this once a week if not more..

I say spend the time to clean them up properly the first time. Use some steel wool and chrome polish. After that use a sponge with regular car wash soap. I wash mine about once a week and all I need after the initial clean up is soap and water.

Oh - not sure about your tips - these are Eisenmann so you may have different results. But I say try it out. Good Luck

If it does not come off easy use the mothers polish and 0000 steel wool. Works great and will not scratch
