X6 Miles per Gallon X6 40d

OK I have just filled up for the first time £90 it cost to fill up !

Going by the milometer and using on the commute mostly in the last 2 weeks I got just over 400 miles to a tank before the fuel light came on
The fuel computer estimates 25.2 Miles per UK Gallon. Estimated range after refill is 535 miles.

By my calcs on the first tank (from full to low fuel light) I am getting 400 / 16.7 = 23.95 which is close to what the fuel computer calculates.

I would be keen to see what I get using differand brands of deisel such as Shell V- power (Diesel extral or BP - Ultimate)

What mpg to other members set for their X6 ? (X6 30d / 35d / 40d)

What Diesel Fuel do you find Best ?

hell of a lot better than the 10 mpg i get in the 50i

Mine (5.0i) about 8-10 but i got heavy foot. On hight way according to my tank it was around 17 per galon

Wow 10 mpg so how many miles to a full tank do you guys get between fills ?

I'm getting 27 mpg from my 35d with 1500 miles on, diesel from Esso as I recall.

13.5lt per 100km , only city driving this week.
Drive like its stolen & will go to 16/100

Collected the car (40d) on wednesday from London and drove it to Belgium at normal speeds within the traffic regulations and had an average consumption of 9.8 Lit/100Km
