What would you like to see in your next X6?

Hi all
I thought this may be fun as well as informative to BMW if they read the forums. Basically, lets give them a wish list, so what would you like to have in your next X6? it could be additions, removals, alterations, changes...whatever you think would make your ride better. It could be related to engine, exterior, interior, technology....etc. so lets see how creative and how close to our machines we are....

don't have an x6 yet, but might in the near future...

I'd like to see the wheel arch moldings/trims and bottom of the front and rear bumper color matched...not a fan of the black rubber trim around the edges....

Garage List
2010 X6 50i  [9.34]
A FULL LINE of performance accessories!!! Not just a part here or there. Full interior accessories, better selection of wheels including 22's and 23's. Suspension systems, brake systems and the list goes on and on....Hamann is getting my $$ because BMW isn't up to par with their line.

in line 6 is the best engine BMW builds....a 360 hp inline 6 is done by Dinan, sp it is doable. better MPG and cheaper. it is a lighter engine, so weight to power ratio would be awsome....just an opinion.
BTW if the 35i stays at 300hp, I am going for the 50i in 2 yrs.

We'r not asking for much on an $80,000+ vehicle!

1)Grab handles to ease ingress/egress,
2) more adjustable steering column.
3)Tailgate opening & CLOSING switch on the dash, with audible warning when gate is closing, just like headlights being left on (how difficult is this if u can have soft closing doors!??)
4)Close the gap between headlights housing clear cover & the bumper with a transparent rubber gasket, so sand does not get trapped in it!
5)Get an extension on the inside edge of the visor or a smaller middle visor, just above the mirror,to block out the Sun from glaring directly at the driver headed east /west in the early a.m. or late p.m.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, for now!
6)Shape the exhaust pipe tips in a way so that exhaust carbon/pollution mixed with rain or moisture in the gas or condensate does not DRIP on the painted cladding under the tailpipes.
7) ANY dash information the driver wishes, should be programmable in HUD.
8) Anti Shifting velcro system of some sort to stop cargo from rolling around in the cargo area.
9)AUTOMATIC brake dust eliminator would also be a nice option !

+1 archwerks - Grab Handles!!
1) Indicator on dash showing that your headlights are on.
2) Sunglass holder compartment in middle roof liner (like on my old X5)
3) When you are low on fuel, the warning not taking over your time and temp gauge display (both on dash and idrive display, so annoying).
4) Idrive with IPOD: When going back to the artist menu list after you had selected an Artist, it not starting from the very top of the list again, instead have it highlight the artist you had previously selected.

I remember you as well, I also remember when you dumped your LCI 550 for an x6...

Yes I'm still posting on e60.net/5series.net. I still keep in contact with john/dranged often as well as doc/dav...you should stop by and check in over there also...lol...

i also remember me helping you resize your sig pic

congrats on your upgrade from the .35i to the .50i

I'm lurking around x6posts as my lease is up this december and I'm not yet sold on an f10 and the x6 is my other choice....hope all is well with you..

Well.just one info...35i engine has more than 350 hp..but when BMW introduced it in 335i,there was still old M3 with 343 hp,so that was reason why they declared less power!

We know it's tuneable to squeeze more out of N54. R u suggesting that there is more power than specified, straight from factory?

1.proportional wheel wells ( so tires don't look so stupid).
2.NO Running boards (at least as an option, wife hates current ones).
3.front camera.
4.after market accessory line , everything from more power to body kits ( if BMW doesn't someone else will).
5.grab handles in the back seats.
6. back center console as option rather than standard.
7.less wind noise, when driving 80+ mph.
8.full function pc with wifi (so I can sync itunes when parked in garage), with 3G/4G ( so I can do google maps and email) Mac mini would work perfectly for this.
9. more rim and tire options.
