Your opinion please

so i want to get the 21" Double Spoke 215 Black Wheel Set from the dealer. His price is $5400 with the wheels. I was browsing ebay and came across this....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/22-LI...Q5fAccessories

These are replicas and 22 inch rims for under $1200. Is there a big difference with quality? Would the drive be worse or anything? Also you guys think 22's would be better as well?

thanks in advance

Caveat Emptor, or Buyer Beware.
Cheap on price, short on details from website.
Is it Nameless knock offs! made in 3rd world country for a quick $$?
Each wheel x-rayed for cracks by manufacturer?
Ur life & those riding in ur car depends on the wheels structural integrity.

+3...as the old adage goes when buying helmets, how much is your head worth?

Wheels are not just for looks...and these aren't light or slow vehicles!

Go OEM or don't bother, they wont be to the same standard or quality, I'd avoid.

unless you intend to drive your car under 40 mph , I wouldn't do it. as everyone has said go with OEM. Buying auto parts off Ebay is ok for cosmetic parts , if they are not good quality they just look bad. Anything that is mechanical and has bad quality can cost your life.

As others have said the wheels and tires are very important on a 5200 pound vehicle,
especially one that you drive at high speeds.

Replicas are ok only if made by good, know company
Otherwise stay away!!!
I'm myself on 19'' M6 reps
Still going strong even after 2yrs in NYC (pothole city)

P.S. 21'' is a bit rare size?
Are there enough decent tire options available?

Ya im not talking about stocks though....im takin about custom wheels...theres no point in me paying thousands just to go from a 19 to a 20...and then i think 22 is just too big...looks much better on 21s

I just gave you example of how 20s look on X6
Doesnt have to be stock set
Just saying that 20s are nice
There are some X6s with 22s, that look nice as well
