and if you are on stock 20" wheels i recommend 15/20mm spacers.

the 2.0" kit is too harsh and bouncy but if your fine with that its here:

ECS seems to be the better deal now.

Cool cool, thanks for the info. I always research like crazy before any mods and I'm pretty sure I'm going to go this route since I wont have to screw with the rear air suspension too much and it seems like whom I read about having this setup are happy with it for daily driving. Ill post some pics once I get it all installed. Thanks again Brotha.

IYO, would either of these work? I'm always trying to save a buck wherever I can haha. The way I look at it, if I do ten things to my car, and I save $20 on each, then I'll have $200 for something else. Boom! lol

Totally buy into your logic. There is a difference in those stops compared to those commonly used. It would be a bit if an experiment on your end to pinch pennies there.

Would lowering 1.2" put an extra stress on the airbags and are all X5M's have the airbags?

How many of users with 1.2" drop have had to replace their airbags and at what mileage?

Great and a very helpful thread

My car was at 30k miles when I installed the H&R spring kit but my driver side airbag was acting funny a day before install lol. So I replaced OE bags with arnotts.

what was the problem with the original air suspension?
What tires and how many miles on them lowered?
What alignment specs did you go with?
Rear set up at 67 mm and does that make the lower sit slightly higher than the front?

Thanks

Read above and 67mm will make it sit even as far as I can see
