Minor changes to the 2011 changes...

Just had my 2001 50i production confirmed and there are some very minor changes to the changes for 2011..

The Cold weather package had the ski bag put back in.

The side view cameras will not be available until September production.

Do you mean the top view cameras? If so, that would be a drag. They come in very handy. Can't understand why they wouldn't be immediately available, since they're available on '10s.

Nope.. side view.. two cameras in the front fenders. I played around with it on the 550GT it's pretty slick. Top view is still available (cameras under the mirrors) with the rear view camera package.

here's a link. Same ones from the 7 that filtered down to the 5 and now in the x6. They let me order them and then said "Sorry, not until September".

I can confirm the delay on the side view cameras. When I went to place my xDrive50 on order with this option, I was told that would delay delivery until October. So, off they came (unfortunately)!
