Oiled filters tend to clog/mess up the air flow through the MAF resulting in a CEL. I have the BCM filters and they are worth every penny

That's what I meant, people tend to over oil the filter

I have been a ford guy (kinda) and the thing with the oiled filters and MAF, is related to oil depositing on the hot wire of the MAF that then will not read as accurate as it could. That's all. This did not always cause a check engine light, but may degrade the cars performance in the realm of acceptability to the EEC system. On the flip side some cars have never have any issue at all and have full performance all the time with MAFs and oiled filters, so there is the information I have

so back to this air filter kit, the cost is 415$ plus shipping? Does the kit come looking like the pictures of the original post, black with the sticker things on them? They are dry filters or oiled filters? doesn't matter to me either way, these are turbo cars, they more then likely have some oil in the intake system from the turbos anyway

I just pulled one side of the filter setup off yesterday to do my downstream o2, wow, these seem complicated.

Hey Zombimaniac, before I fork over 410$ to you, could I see some more pictures of the completed product?
