Steering wheel adjustment not working

During my NavTool install my steering wheel adjustment stopped working. I was running into interface placement issues so I had not screwed the head unit back into the bracket. The steering wheel was stuck up and would not move.

After figuring out where to place all the stuff, I was able to fit the head unit back into place. I screwed it back into the bracket and shortly thereafter the steering wheel adjustment started working again???

Weirdest thing ever.
