So far so good on the V8 (May 08 Production batch, I believe the first in the world). There was some computer upgrade to fix an electric power drop issue. I never noticed the problem in the first place but the dealer called me and said to bring it in for the upgrade.

I think since you are getting a later batch production, I am sure you will have zero issues.

Relax and wait for your baby to arrive

got problems yes

Nav in 3x for repairs, now they are putting in new computer. Pulls to the right, they can't seem to fix it. Did alignment, swapped tires, still there. Some kind of shipping cosmline on passenger door handle stained the paint and they could not get it out, so they will repaint it. Have the same junk in the front corners of the all the doors on the inside. So far that's it but compared to wife 335 with 1 problem that seems like a lot. Car in service now for the 4th time in 2 months. Cheap

my X6 50i was June production date , I have had it a month now no problems and I have been driving aggressively lately. I do know the dealer went through it with fine tooth comb even draining and refilling oil. When you produce x numbers of cars there will always be some that have issues.

Cheap sorry you're having issues, I hate electronic issues they are like noise issues pain in the butt.

10,030 miles since end-May on my 35i - no issues, niggles or problems at all. Still as fantastic as the day I picked it up!

Cheers, Anteater.

I have to revise this. Just started up the X6 and noticed that my HUD is not working and I could get to to turn back on. Looks like I have to make my first service call. I may also ask them if there are any iDrive updates because I notice that it is very slow and almost freezes for about 45-60 seconds after starting vehicle sometimes

Dude, you were the passanger in the car, your wife was driving, that's why you didn't see it

Just kidding... Hope it's nothing serious and that you can get it back in working condition so that you can enjoy your car again soon...

Amazing how different my driving experience is now without the HUD working. You get so used to it that when it is actually not working it feels weird always have to look down at the speedo like most normal people

Yes. Completely quit working. Nothing shows up in the HUD display. I am sure it is just loose connection or something like that. Good thing it is under warranty
