Talking ESS Tuned X6 Activehybrid

Proud to say I am ESS Tuned!!!! It took quite a bit of time and tinkering of software with Asbjorn but we finally got it to work. I uploaded the tune on Thursday and from the driving I have done so far, the truck definitely feels faster. Theres a big difference in low-end power, getting to 60mph from a stand still seems freakishly quick now. Even at highway speeds, there is no problem finding that power to overtake another car. Its only been 5 days and I know it takes a week or 2 for the x6 to adapt to the tune, but I am quite impressed with the power so far.

I havent had any problems as of yet nor are there any sort of error codes or dash lights. If anyone is on the fence about getting tuned, do it!!!!!!!!

Keep posting. What's been going on with the car? How's it adapting to the tune? I have the same car. What did the tuning do to it? Any impressions after a few days with it?

I havent thrown any codes nor are there any lights on the dash, so for all is well. The car is adapting to the new found power quite well. I put it into sport mode to see what it can really do. The low end power and the mid range pull are the most noticeable for me. Accelerating from a stop literally pins you to your seat if you are heavy on the pedal. Going from 60 to 110mph comes very quickly and seems effortless. I love this tune so far, a great investment!

The tune has absolutely transformed my X6. I looked at a bunch of different tuners but settled on ESS, so far so good.

How much does the tune cost and what exactly does it do to the car? What changes?

I paid roughly $1300. The tune has provided TONS of power! Theres lots of low end torque off the line its totally changed. Ive lined up with many cars and have yet to lose. There has been substantial gains throughout the RMP range. I would definitely recommend you get this tune my friend, you will not regret it!!!
