I'm selling my Peake Research R5/FCX3-U for mechanics code and reset tool.
This is a great tool for DIY or if you simply want to be able to read check enginee codes etc. I bought this tool for my X5 2001 to scan and see why the truck was troughing a check engine light. It paid for it self in that one evening.
I have only used this tool once and could list it as new since it is in perfect condition. This is the most universal of all Peake R5/FCX3 tools as it comes with the adapter so you can scan and reset most 20 pin (BMS 1987-2000) and 16 pin (BMW 2000 to 2007).
It covers most BMWs built between 1987-2007 including Diesel Models .
Displays all BMW-factory engine fault codes; allowing you to do your own engine diagnostic! A big step up from "generic" code readers.
Resets the Engine light (AKA "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon")
Resets the Oilservice and Inspection lights, and service mileage (does not reset CBS.) Very easy to use and includes instruction manual, code chart, adapter cable and storage box.
