X6 facelift...when?

What's up guys...just wondering, when is the X6 going to get a facelift? I was thinking 2012 model with spring 2011 preview. BMW usually refresh their models after 4 years...what do you think? Cheers

Well,BMW refresh it very well by far...new idrive,new engines,new gearbox..so i guess you can expect every six months a changes...my guess is that facelift will be end of 2011 or beggining 2012..but who know...

True...the 2011 X6 already feels facelifted in terms of specs. The only thing left is some exterior changes.

I would agree. I would assume the MY 2012 X6's will have slightly revised front/rear bumpers, headlights/taillights, some new wheel designs, new exterior (and maybe interior) color choices, etc. Mechanically, I doubt you will see much ... if anything, maybe a few extra HP out of the current engines.

I plan on going for a MY 2011 this summer. I love the way the car looks in Aspen White with the 20" Y-Spokes (214's). I don't think a few minor changes would make me feel otherwise ...

There will always be changes as Deda noted about every six months now, so no matter when you buy six months later there will be new stuff. BMW is shortening the model update cycle when the economy is going the other way.

with mark's post of " Geneva Preview: BMW X6 Performance Parts coming " I guess the difference between new and 6-12 months old is going to get blurred.

It's just a guess...but I feel BMW is going to announce the facelift in Spring 2011 or Fall at the most based on the pace of the recent changes.

I mentioned this already in another thread. The latest my dealer confirmed to me is that the facelift will happen not before October 2012.
