No Sound on X6

Hi guys,
I have a X6 3.5i and since 8 months ago, the sound (all the sound) will cut off and on radomly. It's in warranty, so the first time I went to the dealer, the sound was working and they could not reproduce the problem. I picked up the car, and the sound stopped working 30 minutes later.
Last month, it finally the sound would not work at all (not only no radio or CD, but no gong on the seat belt, no voice in the GPS and no alarm in the parking sensors....), so I took it back to the dealer. After 5 days, I got the car back, they said they have changed a battery (???). The sound was working for..... 10 minutes...
Called them back, they (official very big BMW dealer) said they are clueless and that I should call BMW North America. I did, and they said it was a problem with the dealer, and that I should take it back there... Really bad customer service (I was very happy with BMW customer service and cars until now....)....
So tomorrow, I will take it again for the third time!
Anybody experience a similar problem?

Regards,

Jose

And the problem is...

Finally, it seems that they have "caught" the problem, related to faulty cables near the brakes, and they do have to substitute the amp and rewire... Thank god my car is still under warranty....

I was going to say it's definitely related to the amp. I had the same thing happen on my former 550i on a trip back from S.C. to Florida. Made the last leg of the trip with no sound. No Nav Voice, Door Chime, Seat Belt Warning, Lane Departure, Radio, etc. did I forget anything? It happened twice actually the first time they claimed the car went into "transport mode". The second time the amp bit the dust. Glad it worked out for you.
