New Deep Sea Blue 2011 X5 on order

It went to production Feb 25, and the excitement is building. I did a lot of research on this site and I want to say thank you to all the members for valuable input. This is my first BMW and I am pleasantly surprised by how welcoming everyone is on this site regardless of what someone posts.

Keep up the good work. My dealer says I should have it in 2-3 weeks. Can't wait!

Congrats. We ordered ours last week and our hoping for a mid March delivery. Can't wait! This is my 3rd new BMW but the first we have custom ordered.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

It seems to be hit or miss with the X5 although in the recent years they seem to be more reliable. When they work they are superlative vehicles.

I just called the 800 number and they say my X5 is "released to carrier". I am trying to be patient, but I can't wait. I am in upstate NY how long do you think I have? 1 week, 2?

I emailed my CA and he says its due at the dealership this coming Wednesday 3/9!

Our's went into production today. If it follows your timeline we are looking at taking delivery around March 20. We are in Mass so I am assuming the ship times are going to be equivalent.

Please post Picts when it arrives!

Took delivery last night. The weather has been miserable, so this is the only picture I have so far (hope I uploaded it correctly). I am in love with the car. I don't remembering it having this much power or this sweet of a drive during the test drive.

I love the color. I always liked BMWs in blue and this one I think is the best shade I've seen. I am hoping it doesn't show dirt too much, but that should be a non-issue since I tend to wash my cars very often regardless. I'll try get some better pictures today outside. The rain has finally stopped.

I didn't want to create another thread. But I want to share my excitement with everyone as my SA just emailed me saying my Deep Sea Blue X5d should be here by the 26th of March!!!

My SA also give me a railcar number, anyone know how i can track this online?
