Question about NAV and playing DVD's
Just bought a 2009 BMW X6 5.0 today and want to know how to get it to play DVD's in motion and not just in park. Is there a wire I can just snip or do I HAVE to pay $300-500 for the NAV TV thing? Thanks

I'll post pictures as soon as I get it all cleaned up. Rained all day yesterday when I picked it up. It's Black on Black, pretty well optioned, no full leather though, if I had ordered it, I would have got that plus the rear entertainment. Oh well, still love it.
I know if I pay for the NAVTv thing it can do it, but I wanted to hold off paying like $500 for that if there was something more simple to bypass it with. Also, does anyone know if any companies like Vishnu offer tuning stuff like the do in the 335i motor? I would love to throw a tune on this thing and get another like 85hp and 100tq-ft. Thanks. |
