hey maybe you can have dual-purpose for them - break them off and use them for brass knuckles

Not yet, just testing the waters to get opinions on what people like.

Feedback is appreciated.

Looks great. Maybe offer a black anodized color, if possible. Definitely will pick some up although I'm not a track guy ..

Thanks for the feedback! We have some black anodized ones on Post #1:

This was version 1, as they are not concave like the V2s. Or were you looking for something a bit different?

Oh sorry, I didn't realize this was for R&D purposes. I definitely like the contour of version two to wrap around the wheel better. It would be cool if you could easily order them painted or anodized in stock BMW colors as well as a few basic colors (gunmetal, brushed, etc etc.) Not sure what the price point on these are but I would assume $100-150 would sell quite a few units. More than that and they will probably lose sales as this isn't a must have piece, but just a nice addition...

tom, did you get a chance to install v2 and feel it out? does the contour make a big difference?

also please option for no holes and i would like it if it were just a bit longer on the end for a more symmetrical look. the bottom barely sticks out of the wheel and it looks "unbalanced" .

waiting for final version with revision above and im in for a set

I would make the bottom part more flatten out like the top part of the paddle, so it matches. Looks and feels amazing though!

Have been swamped the last month, but going to make some time to get these installed. Possibly tonight.

I'll update with pictures shortly afterwards.

Would be a good idea to make some steel/carbon fiber ones With maybe the steel portion being the 3mm bottom half that connects to the steering column. Then the Carbon portion being the entirety of the paddle.

hmmm.....that would be really cool

Oh and NO holes. Like I said earlier - brass knuckles come to mind.

I like the contoured version better. I don't like the holes as much as I did originally and think a solid piece with a ribbed rear side would be more functional.

European Car has the car at the moment, kind of a last-minute thing.

We should get the M3 back in a few days for installation.

V2 "raw finish" installed, note how wheel wrap is much improved.

Feedback in appreciated.

hey tom,

im pretty sure its the lighting/angle but the finished product will have smoother curve where the paddle contours? if you look at the 1st pic it looks bent where it contours.

also does it still provide the full "click" feeling like the oem paddles? im wondering if the depth of the click has changed due to being closer to the wheel.

lastly does it feel natural to the finger? the oem paddles stick out and when you reach over the wheel with a finger the paddle is right there. im curious to know if because it is contoured your finger has to reach "deeper" to shift.

don't mind my ocd
