Im actually back reading this again looking for video clips... Still looking to do this. Did the injector recall and I need to take care of some cracked hoses on the crank case. I want to get it squared away for stock dyno Vs. Tune Vs Tune and DP gutted.

I know this is a bit of a thread bump, but anyone have thoughts on doing this but only upto the 1/2" gap and not completely removing the cats?
I dont want to drive around with no cats (and would not pass emissions testing) but Im wondering if removing the bulk of the cats would get you a cheap proxy to high flow cats (as clearly less restriction there but still some catalytic conversion going on)? |

I never though of that but it should give gains with less restrictions from removing 1/2 the material
