I placed my order with x-ph.com for VRSF Downpipe, Chargepipe, and BMS intake.

Who are some of my best options for getting a remote custom tune? I'm using MHD.

Thanks guys!

There is a new firmware update, does this apply to our e70 as in when we update and install will it make a difference or it will only have effects on late e70s? Anyone knows?

I know with any updates with MHD it usually helps all of us out. The instructions from what I've gathered is helping the late E-series on how to utilize MHD I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong

the current updates on MHD add support for flashing late e-series DME. An initial DME unlock is still needed one time as stated since the beginning. Once that is done, late E-series users can flash wherever they want. Just like the early E-series owners.

I haven't had a chance to update the OTS map myself but feedback off the e90post from one member is quoted below;

"1. There's no low rpm lugging in low gears when the car is cold.
2. The boost coming on again after a shift is smoother. It doesn't feel like there's a flat spot followed by a boost spike like before - rowing through the gears feels more like a naturally aspirated car.
3. Flashing without the fuel pump running is awesomely silent."

He's running the stg 1+

I've been running Stage 1+ with BMS intake and VRSF chargepipe.
This weekend my VRSF downpipe finally arrives (was on back order) so I'll be installing it and going to Stage 2+.

Next I'll try an E30 map if my fuel pumps, coils, etc seem up to it after getting logs on stage 2+.

Does that mean I'm in business after a bench flash? Where do I send my DME?!?

Sounds pretty solid
How's the BMS intake? Do you hear that turbo spool up relatively loud?

Have you dyno'd it yet?

The intake is great, definitely lets you hear the turbo spool better, which I really like. I wouldn't say it's loud. If you're listening to music you might not hear it.

Haven't had it dyno'd yet. I'm saving that for if/when I do an E30 map.

So I've managed to find time to update the software and it's feels good. But I've notice that during low gears the car feels abit jumpy. During idle, you can also see slight flunctation. Anyone experiencing the same?

The cold start is most obvious, you will see rpm around 1200 thereabouts before dropping to around 600 before going back 800 range.

Makes sense, I'm sure you'll make some solid numbers on that E30 map man if you do go that route

I've noticed the idle being jumpy from flashing the tune in the very beginning. It wasn't like that on my 335i; maybe there's something different with the N55 motor and it didn't have this affect on my N54s

if this is on the latest updates. Try adaptation resets for "throttle", "lambda regulation", "lambda sensors". After they are reset, turn off the car and remove key completely and count to 30. Then turn ignition on and count to 40 before starting the car. If the lumpy idle doesnt improve after the next day or so after the reset. Let me know and i can try something.

Hey guys,

What's the contact/email I should send logs to for ensuring my fuel pumps are ready for Stage 2+?

I'm getting a 2BDE code: pressure too low for the HPFP.

Also, which monitors do I need to select to give them all the info they need?

Thanks for the help guys.

I suggest contacting Justin at Twisted Tuning here on the forum or MHD themselves. You'll see their contact info on the e90post (link on the first page of this thread leading to their tuning page), or on facebook for MHD.

They will provide you EVERYTHING you'll need to send back to them for what you're requesting additionally

Hi Justin, just a quick update! Tried it, worked like a charm! In fact, it made the drive even better!
