not locking my door with just a finger

Hi all
i can lock doors on my bmw e70 4.0d xdrive with just a finger, but i cannot open doors just with teh finger

any help?

To clarify, you are able to lock the vehicle with your finger on the ribbed portion of the door handle, but you are not able to unlock it in the same manner?

The unlock procedure is not the same as the locking procedure. To unlock the door, you grab the entire handle like you would to open the door.

I performed a clear error , connecting eml bluetooth and torque apk on my cellphone. and it works again
