2011 X5 engine whistle/squeal while idle

Hello guys I have a 2011 35i X5,

This whistle / squeal type noise started to happen after I bought the SUV.

It happens while in idle, as I hit the gas kinda goes away but after I build speed and have to decelerate the noise comes back.

Now I saw this guy deal with what appears to me be the same issue.
So my question is...

Will me replacing the valve cover would solve the noise? Or not?
