BMW X5 LCI E70 Sound Problem

Hi,

I have one E70 LCI X5 and I have an issue with the sound. When I put music a bit louder the sound gets noisy. To solve this I have to lower the volume and than if I put the volume higher again noise come back again. Anyone know what can be done to solve this?

You need to describe the sound a little more for people to be able to help.
Is it a low pitch buzz or higher pitch?
Is it from one specific area or all around?
Does it make the sound more than one audio source? (FM radio, bluetooth, etc)

If its in one specific area likely just a blown speaker or loose trim vibrating. If its all around/through all the speakers likely bad head unit(infotainment computer) or amp.

Is it distortion, like the speaker suspension/surround is torn? You’ll have to put eyes on all your mids to confirm…assuming they are older speakers. $0.02

Check under the front Seats maybee there is junk on the subwoofers, that could give crappy sound.
