Interesting MPG reading

2012 E70 X5 35i
Dinan Stage 2
Average MPG has been 18.2

I noticed after parking that the MPG reading was 99.9. The reading did not change over the course of a day and it was restarted twice.
Finally reset the MPG via idrive and all seems normal again.

Is a dealer visit warranted or should I wait and see if the issue returns.

Same thing happened to my 2007 e70 3.0si after reaching 100,000 miles. I just ignored it, it went back to normal after few months. Now it has more than 130,000 miles with reading of 19mpg
