That makes a HUGE difference! One of the reasons I don't care for the lighter colors is that they make the rear end look a little pinched in. For some reason, painting below the bumper line like that avoids that problem. (Although if you look closely at the picture you can easily see where it has been painted -- it is a different texture from the rest.)

This photo is taken in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Obviously the owner painted the original pumper to match the body color. I'm not sure if I like it though...need more angles to make a better judgement
