This is just a very quick job... if I'd have taken more time, it would be a little better, but then you get the result...
Prefer the wheels on the 6 series, maybe the combination with VR is not the best... Hope this helps.. |

hey branko, top job many thanks
I agree, they look better on the 650i, my X6 is due 1st Sept & I was considering swapping the wheels to the X6 if it looked good. I don't think they work at all on the X6, different type of vehicle. Once again, many thanks for an excellent job done |

Take a look for yourself... just a small photoshop trick : (if you find them looking unnatural especially the one on the front, is because I had to squeeze them, the original I took was a straight on picture, where the X6 is at an angle...) |

my X6 is going in production in July,i hope so...the number of x6 for Croatian market for year 2008 is very low(restricted) and interest is very high(can you imagine for country like Croatia) so there are very long wait lists. The main dealer in Croatia -Tomic- asked his partener dealers to send AGAIN orders for x6 for July, because orders for June did not passed to production and did not get production numbers... Today is more than 2 months when i have ordered my x6,well i guess that middle of September is final date..till than i have to wait and hope that maybe somekind of aero or M package will be available.. Pozdrav!!!! |

oh hell i'm having second thoughts about my X6 order.
Am I doing the right thing in offloading my 650 cab for a 4x4 ? We already have an E70 which is my wife's car, and I really enjoy the 6. I'm just so unsure about it all, even though I like the X6 I really don't know if I would be doing the right thing. Out of interest guys, how many of you would trade in my 650 as seen in the pic for a 35d X6 in VR ? that's another issue that I am having the colour. I have only seen a Space Grey & Saphire Black in the metal. I'm sooooo confused i'm suffering from headaches thinking about it all. |

Im thinking like this. The 650 is a real nice car for sure! But its not a brand new model like the X6. Your X6 will turn a lot of heads around looking at you ;-) And after all i heard and read the X6 got a lovley handling on the road! And last, BMW will still produce 650, so you can get one later again :-) Take the next step! :-) |

That said... you are probably justified in worrying about trading a 650 cab that you love for a new model that is so radically different. I assume one of the things you like about the 6er is the wind in your hair; the X6 only has a sunroof, and a small one at that. If that isn't important to you, the vehicles are otherwise surprisingly similar: small rear seats, lots of technology, etc. You will obviously lose performance, but you'll laugh each time you fill up. IMHO the 650 cab with its top up and its Bangle Butt is one of the most ungainly designs on the road, while I personally think the X6 is stunningly well proportioned -- but you could easily find 20 people who disagree completely and think the exact opposite. I don't think you should worry about the colour, though. VR looks fabulous in the flesh; I have yet to meet anybody who doesn't like it when they see it. My dealer believes it is "the" colour for the X6 and I agree with him. As a matter of fact, I haven't yet seen a colour that the X6 didn't look good in. Anyway, enjoy your confusion. There aren't too many people who get the chance to agonize over two such desirable vehicles! |
