Sorry guys for crashing in on Bimmerpost, I was an active member on M3post, then got an X5 and just fell away from forum boards. I just got rid of my X5, and have the BMW OEM bike rack that fits in the rear tow hooks. This rack has taken me some places successfully! I wouldn't be getting rid of it, but I just sold my X5. Rack has a few nicks here and there and one of the covers that covers the allen bolts (that screw into the tow hook is missing)- not a big deal. I have one key that fits the lock on the bike carrier arms. I would prefer to make a local deal around me (Grand Prairie, TX 75052) within 50 miles. I'm more than willing to also show you how this bad boy works if needed!

I didn't want the hitch on my X5 and this rack fit the bill! No cutting a hole in the bumper! Also, this rack tilts so when your bikes are on, you can still open the rear door! I'm 99% Sure the part # is 82 71 0 443 424
