This is my first BMW. 2008 X5 Sport with 21" Black Wheels. Any advice would be appreciated. I am thinking of trading the Black Wheels and tires for some 20" Black Wheels and tires.

Those wheels are bad a$$. Congrats on your new purchase. I'm waiting on my 2012 X5 M-Sport to be delivered myself.

Nothing. Right now the tires are good also but I cant afford the 21" tire prices that I have seen. I want to get 20" before it comes time to replace the 21" tires. 20" would fit my budget.

I agree on the price of the 21" tires. Especially if they are the Dunlop DSST 21's that are on my X. Mine has the 128 style wheel and replacement tires run just under $3k for a complete set...

Having a more common size would reduce the cost of the tires, as well as the possibility of running an all season tire if desired, rather than just a summer tire setup.

Nice X5! Congrats on the new ride
