Tire to front control arm

How much space should be between the front tire and control arm? Putting aftermarket wheels ob

Anyone? I'm wondering of a 12mm spacer will create enough space. Over speed bumps, is the tire supposed to flex towards the control arm or is the space fixed?

is that the silver part behind the upper part ot the wheel. If so there is Not very much space there at all. Less than 1 inch on mine

Yep! That's the component. Wondering if its ok to drive with a couple mm to spare...right now with OEM I can fit my hand between, but with new wheels probably pinky or less
