Tinting X6 question (rear green windows)

Whats up guys... looking for some help here. My tint company I brought my X6 told me on my 13 X6 3.5 that the rear windows and rear windshield have green glass and if you tint the car 15% all around for example it won't match properly.

The way to match it the best for a darker look is 5% (limo tint) in the front and 15% in the rear. Usually I wouldn't care but my lord limo tints in the front seem a little to aggressive. 15% always lowest I go which is pretty dark as it is.

Anyone tint there X6 and have to do some custom stuff here to make it match properly. Truck looks nice as it is but I always tint my cars. Any advice from someone else who had this issue ? YES the glass is green in the back, the guy has been tinting since 1988 who showed me with his high intensity light.

I assume the x5 is the same.
I was told to do 35% on the fronts to match the rear.
Unfortunately they are the slightest bit darker in the front then rear.
I'd not mind having the rear darker than the front.
They just don't want you complaining and if u limo tint you won't be able to tell the difference.
I'm going to get it redone with 20 all around and just have the rear darker than the front

I have a 2014 X6 and noticed the same issue that you listed above. I decided to tint the front with 20% and the rear windows with 30%. This was recommended by the shop (who I had been going to for years) and the match is almost perfect.

It looks like 20% all around.

Best of luck!

Interesting! I was just thinking of doing 35% in the rear and 20$ in the front or 20% in the rear and 15 in the front. Hmm My guy does not have 30% though... its 5, 15, 20, 35, 50, 55

Did 5 percent on front windows and 15% on rears. Tint meter came out to 5% on rear and it matches perfectly. Not many options here but it looks nice
