Does the X6 qualify for IRS code 179
Question is for anyone in the US. IRS Code 179 allows for a very high deduction for trucks with a GVWR Weight greater than 6,000 pounds. I found one website that said the GVWR of the X6 3.5 was 6,035 Pounds. (GVWR is the weight of the car PLUS the passengers and baggage included ). The code is not based on the unloaded weight of the vehicle.
