Rear Seats Vibrating/Thumping
Hi,
Searched but didn't find any threads on this topic, if there are some, please let me know... When I drive over certain types of bumps or large cracks in the asphalt, the back/upper portion of my rear seat are moving back and forth, and I get a thumping sound. I've checked to be sure they are fully latched in the correct positions, but it still still happens. I'm riding on 22x11" and 22x12" wheels with the correct sized (295-30/22 and 335-25/22) P-Zero tires, so maybe this is just a result of the harsher ride with the low side walls. Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks, John

Have you tried larger wheels?
J/K. Sounds like your truck is pitching forward over some bumps do to your setup, and the motion is exceeding the seats' latches' ability to hold the seats in place. Only thing I can suggest is to look at the seat latch mechanisms and possibly add some material to whatever bump stop is there, to make them more secure. Also, speeding up over those bumps will decrease the pitching and could help.
