Intro and some questions

Hello All,

Just a quick intro of our new X5. 2012 3.5 SAV. Black Sapphire Metallic with Cinnamon Brown Interior. Fully loaded with all options except 3rd row.

Currently 3rd BMW in the household. We also have a 2007 530XI, 2008 M3 Convertible.

Questions:

I know the fuse box is in the passenger side, and I removed the panel to access it, but could not figure out how to get to the fuse box. I wanted to hardwire my Escort Radar detector, as I do with all cars. Yes, I even read the manual. What am I missing?

Also took all 4 wheels off to apply Wheel Wax. What is the torque setting for the wheel lugs? I did 105 ft-lbs. Too much?
