Powder Coating rims?

Thinking of going back to my OEM wheels on my 2007 X5 sport package but hate the color of the wheels. My dude is recommending black powder coating. Anyone do this? Thoughts?

TIA!

i agree, but if u wanna test it. with 20 bucks u can do a very nice job if u do the steps right. else take it to the shop and pay 100-200 each wheel. fyi spraying urself, u will have to re spray every 1-3months

Doing this very mod...

Black looks best with space grey in my opinion.

Any variations of grey will compete with the color of the truck.

Try matte black or textured matte black. Gloss black would be my third choice, but not a fan of this.

That's what I was thinking too. Plus, I've already installed all black kidneys and painted all the trim black so it makes sense. Thanks!!
