Hey man, sorry you're having that happen. I bought mine used and it's not had any problems like this. I wonder if you can check your connections on the back, maybe something is starting to come loose?

This is the primary reason why I've held off getting one of these units.

I've been burnt (pun intended) with Chinese-made entertainment screens in the past not holding up to interior temps we get here.

Is it under warranty?

The way it's flashing regularly might suggest a software issue, rather than hardware.

All of these screens, even OEM BMW are problematic to one degree or another. For yours I would first check the wiring to ensure everything is snug. Beyond that swap it under warranty if you have one or replace it.

I purchased a 8.1 version off of Aliexpress for under $400 shipped.

Check your connections first! Dont assume because of the sun blah blah blah....

Check the connections, after that if it still persists reset, after that exchange under warranty.

I took out the device and unplug the wires, then I install it again, and still flickering during the sun heat, feel like board issue

If you have warranty send it back for a replacement or repair. I also never leave my car in the sun without using a good sunshade like the BMW one for our cars.
