Traction control warning light after new winter tires installed

I recently swapped the run flats from the factory for some pirelli winter tread run flats with indentical specs. After I left the shop my DSC warning light would come on whenever I put my foot on the gas. It's fine up to about 1500 rpm, but if I get into it the car goes into limp mode and the light comes on. Is this normal, based on possible softness of the tire (which I'm having trouble believing), or did the shop most likely mess up a sensor or something else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same problem on my X6 50i.

The Dealership is saying that I have bad front tires and needs to be replaced.

I never had this problem until I got my rear tires replaced at the dealership.

I call BS on that explanation. Either a sensor malfunction or bad luck. I have always switched my summers and winters myself without any issue except for a flat tires light which was easily fixed by resetting the monitors. Unless that tires it rotating uncontrollably by itself there is something else going on. Heck have them change the tires back and see if the problem persists. If you have auto leveling suspension they could have messed something up there as well which would set of the sensors. A good jolt from a pothole or train tracks will set of the sensor as well. Try starting the car turn steering all the way to right then to left, turn off and restart. Also reset the flat tire monitor.
