Mismatched wheels
I have a wheel in the shop for bends but need to move my x5m out of the garage.
The 3 wheels on the vehicle are 22". The one in the shop is from front passenger side. I have spare 20" wheels. Can I put a 20" on and drive the car out of the garage? Would probably need to drive a total distance of 300'. Or is no amount of driving mismatched wheels good for the transfer case? Thanks. |

Zero concern to me if I needed to do that. It seems like a non issue in my book.
Even if you were going 300 miles instead of feet I’d be ok with it... assuming the 20” tires have essentially the same outer diameter as the 22”.

Most aren't AWD, which absolutely matters.
