Brake Fluid Replacement

After 2 years and 11,000 miles, I just got a “Service Due Soon” notice on the computer, and it says I need to have the brake fluid changed. Is that normal? I can’t ever recall changing brake fluid on any other vehicle I’ve owned.

Brake fluid absorbs moisture overtime. It can cause brake lines to rust. It is not that expensive to do at the dealership. Or you can do it yourself with a one person pump from Bavarian autosport.

It is covered under free maintenance at 2 years on the M. My M was done at the 2 year mark. Not sure about other X5's

Kind of...It was the Prius and the ever complex question " should I use the throttle or the brakes" LOL!...Which further proved a fact we all knew. "Electric-auto-folks = below average skill level"

Of course..I mean no offense to Prius owners!
