Florida has hurricanes and flooding California has wildfires Texas has it all It’s only going to get worse. Insurers are already pulling out, reducing competition. Those insurers left are free to raise rates. Insurance is nothing but a way of spreading risk across a large pool, but the more risk increases (whether from nature or increasingly risky behavior like bad drivers), the higher premiums will get. It has nothing to do with politics, but people always look for excuses and that’s where it goes. Politicians like desantis do it too.

I haven't responded to this thread until now because my insurance was pretty good (small town, perfect record, multi-car, low miles, etc), but my agent just told me they're shopping me around because my annual premium went up $1000. WTH???
Might have to leave the insurance off of the Lotus this year, damn. |
