Question need sizes of factory angel eyes.

was wondering if anyone here knows what are the sizes of the angel eyes on the e70 x5. planning on doing a custom headlight and i need the measurements of the rings. any info would be very helpful. (before anyone says "they dont make angel eyes for the x5" im having them custom made)

Hmm, what to think of these? On one hand they look much better than the pre-LCI coronas in that they're real LED and the light distribution is pretty good. But on the other hand they don't seem as subtle as the 2012+ OEM coronas…they sorta stick out and look too aftermarket? Not sure how to describe…

Either way, I'd be careful in spending too much on an aftermarket setup, vs just buying some LCI headlights. I will be curious to see where this goes.

actually they arent. those are for e90s. the x5 has two completely different sizes. my last resort is buy a broken headlight on ebay for $100 bucks and use it to test fit flat bottom rings.

no one has done DTM flat bottom rings on an X5 as far as i know. im going to get mine done after i figure out the two sizes of the factory angel eyes. not going to use round angel eyes, for that i can just buy LCI headlights instead.

True, never seen those on an E70. Seen a few on the E9x (sometimes called the raptor eyes?) and they looked terrible IMO, so I'll be interested to see them on the E70!
