Since I am unaware if anyone one else had done this on Xbimmers, I thought this would be a great place to start up an X5M registry so we can keep up with these special vehicles (or each other) a little better. About me; I'm a small business owner located in North Carolina who seemingly spends most of my spare time centered around some form of wheeled adventure.... whether it is at a racetrack, at a car show or just browsing around a new car showroom or tooling around repair shop, I'm all about the cars, especially M cars.... I have owned Porsche 911, other BMW M's including an e36 M3 sedan (still own) and an e30 M3. I also own a Mercedes SL500, but my X5M is the favorite vehicle I have owned so far... Having a (modified) 640hp AWD vehicle has a lot of advantages: it is somewhat of a sleeper. I mean, who would think that this particular SUV is likely faster than some of the most formidable sports cars on the road?

^ wow that cinnamon looks really good - looks like the E46 M3 cinnamon. I have cinnamon in my 50i but it's darker. I think the M has better quality leather, so perhaps the color ended up a bit different?

Name is James, joined the U.S. Navy after high school where I became a Plane Captain on F14's and F18's, went to Boeing afterwards where I was an assembly mechanic on the F22 and now I'm on the 787. Been mechanically inclined ever since my first car in high school, it's been a passion ever since. Bought my first BMW in 99, a lightly modded 91 M5 black on silver...my wallets never been the same since.

Stuart Moulton - just turned 48 this week. We live in the Washington, DC area. I retired early so that I could finish a degree and then take on the duties of a stay at home dad. We have a 22 yr old daughter, a 2 year old son and a recent birth of a daughter.

I am a car guy in and out. I do not care for sports other than any activity or competition focused around anything with an engine...motorcycles, boats, planes, trucks, cars, etc, etc, etc.

Stuart, good to see you on here posting pics (first seen your stuff on E46F…still have a ZHP myself). One of the 1st guys to heavily mod an X5M, and the first guy I saw retrofit the LED headlights.

To make money I build artificial intelligence and for fun I build cars, get bada$$ tattoos and wear gloves when I drive.

I have owned 4 BMWs so far 2010 528i, 1999 BMW M3 Convertible, 1999 BMW 323i Convertible, 2012 BMW X5M.
