2020 X6 M50i Glass Controls

Hi there,

I am eyeing a CPO X6 M50i that has a lot of nice stuff on it.

One thing I'm not as thrilled about are the shifter and iDrive knob, they aren't like anything I have seen... apparently they are "Glass Controls". I have had Ceramic Controls which I like, they are solid shiny black in my experience. These aren't my jam, they are clear glass...

So want to talk with dealer re swapping them out, or maybe this is something I manage... want to be careful car is still under warranty.

Any thoughts? No idea how expensive or pain it is for me to ask for these to be put to ceramic or stock. I know anything is negotiable but want feedback before going down this road with them.

PS - Oh and now I believe my searches are telling me there was ONLY a Glass option and no Ceramic for this car? Ugh ok... well not sure but any thoughts on going back to the stock ones? These just aren't for me. Probably bigger issues in life but now while I'm buying it is probably only time I'd bother them to swap it... how hard is this ask?

PSS - Also, searching threads I don't see any side-by-side comparisons... anyone have photos of stock?
