Fuel Gauge problems fixed - 2012 X5 35 sport

There was a recent post about this but couldn't find it for the life of me. I have noticed for several months that when i filled up my gas tank the gauge would never hit F, just shy of it (picture below). The first 50 miles would drop the gauge to half a tank and then it would ever so slowly move towards E. It never corresponded to how far I was driving.

Finally had time to take it to the dealership and they ended replacing the fuel tank. They said they have seen some problems with the gauge itself but after some electrical tests concluded it was not the gauge. The found a problems with the valve which permits fuel to move between the two bladders in the tank to balance weight. Tank replaced and now tank shows F on fill-up and moves concordant with my mileage.
