New Owner Saying Hi -- Snows Question Too
Howdy,
Proud owner of 09 35i -- coming off of E60 550... We really needed a utility vehicle in the family again, and the local dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse... Details Monaco Blue Metallic Saddle Brown Interior Sport Package (with 20's) Premium Package Tech Package Cold Weather Package Comfort Access Premium Stereo Living in the midwest snow tires are going to a must -- what are you guys running who need them? I had the Dunlop WinterSport 3D's on my 550 and really liked them.. I noticed TireRack offers tires for both cars and light truck/suv for the X6 Yes, I'll post pix soon! THX |

Welcome to the forum - and the X6 'family' Midwest X6! Car sounds great - post some pics! My new drive is Le Mans Blue with Saddle Brown - can't wait!!
I have a set of full winter tires and rims that I'm looking to sell (18" Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow RFT's mounted on OZ Canyon rims) - bought them last winter and only ran them for about 5,000 miles so in great condition and will fit straight on to the X6. The handling in the Chicago winter was awesome! My X6 goes next week (hit 30,000 miles after 15 months) and they won't fit the E93 335i // M-Sport I'm changing for..... Drop me a PM if interested and we can talk and I can send you some pics - otherwise I'll be posting them on the classified board on this site in the next couple of days. Cheers, Anteater |

Pics of New Ride
Well, we are enjoying our new X6 tremendously, and I suspect when winter hits the Midwest US, we'll enjoy it even more..
Is proving to be the perfect vehicle for us: Utility AWD Aesthetics Luxury Exclusivity Performance & Fun for Daddy to Drive Fit/Finish Safety Please pardon my poor photo skills!! Rick Last edited by midwest 340xi 6sp; 08-16-2009 at 05:20 PM.. |

Hi, followed your thread on e60.net. Excellent decision. I have come from an e60 too (had 3 of them) - I am still enjoying the x70
greetings

the biggest disappointment in selling my last e60 was to leave the e60.net world! the next disappointment was the little traffic you get on any x6 forum in this world, whether american forums or european forums. Just gotta accept that x6 users are not fans of forums

Yah, I noticed the light traffic...I think part of it is just the few # of x6's too..Probably best to combine with X5 communities.
E60.net was good, I thought better than Bimmefest...My fave was back in the day when I had an E46 M3.. M3Forum.com rocked |
